Lessini Durello D.O.C. metodo classico Brut

VARIETY:

VINEYARDS:
Situated in the upper Val d’Alpone at an average height of 200 metres above sea level, in the towns of San Giovanni Ilarione and Roncà. Harvesting takes place in the first ten days of October, with a careful selection of the healthy bunches.

VINIFICATION:
The grapes are put into crates and crushed whole directly in discontinuous presses. After cold static racking, the must is fermented at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Once the base wine has been obtained, it is bottle in January for the second fermentation following the champenois process.

TASTING NOTES:
Mousse: fine and persistent.
Colour: pale straw yellow.
Aroma: crust of bread stands out mixed well with hints of robinia and feverfew.
Taste: full-bodied, dry and slightly sharp, stimulating salivation, with a slightly bitter after-taste.
Alcohol content: 12,5%vol.

GASTRONOMIC COMBINATIONS:
Thanks to its particular organoleptic qualities, this wine blends perfectly with dried cod “alla vicentina” and with all types of fish, as well as being an excellent aperitif.

SERVE:
Serve very cold in flutes goblets at a temperature of 6-8°C.
